A document version AS A MERKLE MANIFEST: an ordered list of chunk hashes, whose `root_hash` (a hash of that ordered list) IS the version's identity. A revision that edits one chunk mints a new blob only for that chunk; every unchanged chunk keeps its hash and is SHARED with the prior version (storage proportional to what changed). `as_of(T)` = the latest version effective at T; a cited version always resolves (its chunks are immutable). This is the AirOS knowledge design finally built — nearly free on the content-addressed filestore.
